An impact platform should keep its community's history when the technology changes. We migrated Ignite's community data from AWS RDS PostgreSQL into its Lovable and Supabase app, using SQL editors to map records, check counts and make the imported content readable. The work brought organizations, posts, comments and impact metrics into the new platform, with owner handover notes covering image hosting, user access and the remaining review steps.
Keep the color. Change the engine. We're moving our ATX in Color community platform from its previous managed hosting platform to Lovable and Supabase, carrying its events, directory, member records and ticketing data into a setup we can manage ourselves. The work combines database exports, SQL checks and file-storage planning, with media transfer and the domain switch being checked before the old hosting is retired. A Matemane Group venture.
